Text: You are in English Area, speak at least 30%

It was long time since the last time I wrote in English. I feel that I have to recharge it in this very time. For me, today, I keep on learning, improving and trying to spit the words out of my mouth in English. It is very good to improve language from the side you love. For me I like to speak American English, it is a bit premature to speak in the way American used to speak, American slang. But I tell you what, I really like to, it sounds natural and releases all what you’ve got. Words such as “ get the hell out, “you’re the top dog”, “holy crap”, or as simple as “fuck you” is now becoming common among those who just started learning English for a while. It doesn’t make them looks good in English, but it’ll give them something like from-no-where spirit to keep on speaking the language, and of course, will make their English much more better.

Most Indonesian today, and as I was too, is still thinking that English is something luxurious or something expensive, for this one because taking course in the city, say it my city, will dry your pocket off, and of course most people can’t join in. With all of those limitations don’t mean that we have to stop learning, there is a lot of ways to improve our English. One solution came into our society, is about cheap English course but resulting in English level as high as those who are taking course in ‘ 5-stars’ English courses or so-called English First, British Council and many others. Those institutions don’t bring you any easiness at all, but they’ll keep you on moving slowly to reach the level you wanted to be. Why?

Of course, it’s all about business! If you could easily pass within three or four months (something that really happens in Pare, Kediri), they will be collapsed and no more. They need you to keep on feeding them monthly with high cost that mid-lower consumer will not look at or even think about! It is such crazy if you had to pay 500 thousand rupiah (RM200) monthly for only one level of their course while with that amount of money, in Pare, East Jawa, you can join 4 different courses for a month! say it TOEFL, speaking, grammar, pronunciation plus one month renting room, imagine that! Beside those factors, Pare courses are naturally grown by indigenous villager of Tulung Rejo village.

With all the hospitality of villagers, the nature, their strong values of live, villager-level of living cost and the most important is area where you’ll find people with the same aim and same goal, learning English. It will do you any good toward your English proficiency process besides, you will also help the indigenous to strive, compete and live. Keep up friends!
